A brand rule is a definition of something to check for in your team's content, along with how severe it is when found.
What a rule consists of
Pattern, type, and severity
- A pattern, the specific language, terminology, or structure the rule is looking for.
- A rule type, which determines how that pattern is checked. See Rule types and what each can check.
- A severity, inherited by every violation the rule generates.
Where rules are authored
Brand rules are written and maintained here, in Settings under Brand rules. Their violations are worked separately, in the Brand module. See Where brand rules are authored vs where they are worked.
