Writing your first brand rule

A good first brand rule is narrow and clear, something simple enough to see working end to end before writing more complex ones.

Before you begin

You'll need Owner or Admin permissions.

Write a rule

1. Go to Settings, then Brand rules.
2. Click New rule.
3. Choose a rule type. See Rule types and what each can check.
4. Define the specific pattern to check for.
5. Set its severity.
6. Save, and choose whether to activate it immediately or test it first.
