Launch keeps a clear separation between defining a rule and dealing with what the rule finds.
Authoring
What you decide when you write a rule
Rules are written and maintained in Settings, under Brand rules. This is where you decide what counts as a violation: the specific language, terminology, or pattern a rule checks for, and how severe a violation of it should be.
Working
Once a rule is active, any violation it finds shows up in the Brand module. This is where your team reviews, closes, verifies, or dismisses individual violations. Nobody edits a rule's definition from inside the Brand module.
Why this separation matters
Keeping authoring and working apart means the people reviewing day-to-day violations aren't accidentally changing what counts as a violation in the middle of that work. Rule changes are deliberate, versioned actions taken in Settings; violation handling is the operational work that happens in Brand.
