Pass, fail, warning and N/A: what each result means

Last reviewed Sep 6, 2026

Every requirement in a preflight report resolves to exactly one of four results.

The four results at a glance

  • Pass — Meaning: The requirement's condition is verified as true., Blocks go live?: No
  • Fail — Meaning: The requirement's condition is verified as false., Blocks go live?: Yes
  • Warning — Meaning: A condition worth reviewing, but not a hard stop., Blocks go live?: No
  • N/A — Meaning: This requirement doesn't apply to this campaign., Blocks go live?: No

Only a fail blocks go live

Only a Fail result blocks a campaign from going live. Warnings are surfaced so a Marketer or approver can make an informed decision, but they don't stop the process on their own.
