Why the record locks at commitment
Once a campaign is committed and sent for Brand or Legal approval, it becomes read-only for its owner. This isn't a bug or a missing permission; it's a deliberate rule.
What the approver is signing off on
An approver's decision only means something if it's a decision about the exact version of the campaign that was submitted. If the owner could keep editing after commitment, the approver might be reviewing something that no longer matches what actually ships. See Why a committed launch is read-only until the approver acts for the full reasoning.
Withdraw first, then edit
If something needs to change, withdraw the campaign first. That returns it to Draft, where it can be edited freely, before being resubmitted.
