Every completed scan has an intake summary: a record of what that specific scan looked at and what it turned up.
What's in a scan's intake
The four things an intake records
- Which connected systems and web properties were included in the scan.
- How many new findings the scan produced.
- How many existing findings were updated with new information.
- Any errors or partial failures encountered while scanning.
How this differs from the findings list
The findings list shows the current, cumulative state of everything Scan has ever detected. Scan intake shows what happened during one specific run. Use intake when you want to know what changed since the last scan, not just what's outstanding now.
