If Scan detects a finding that's actually part of a campaign you've already confirmed, merge it rather than confirming it separately.
Merge a finding
- Go to Scan and open the finding you want to merge.
- Click Merge.
- Search for and select the existing campaign it belongs to.
- Confirm the merge.
What happens after a merge
Assets move over, everything else stays put
The finding's assets are added to the existing campaign's record, and the finding itself is removed from your review queue. Nothing changes for the campaign's status, dates, or approvals; only its list of known assets grows.
