Scan runs scans on a recurring schedule in addition to any manual scans you start yourself.
Setting a custom frequency isn't available yet
Detailed control over scan frequency, including setting a custom schedule per connected system, is planned but not yet available. This article will be filled in with specifics once that capability ships. In the meantime, use Starting a scan manually whenever you need up-to-date findings.
