Scan draws a firm line between what it detects and what your team has confirmed. This distinction matters because only confirmed campaigns become tracked records in Launches.
Detected
Scan's best interpretation, not yet a record
A detected campaign, shown as a finding in Scan, is Launch's best interpretation of something it found during a scan. It hasn't been reviewed by a person yet, and it doesn't appear anywhere outside Scan.
Confirmed
A confirmed campaign is a finding a person has reviewed and verified as a real, active campaign. Confirming a finding creates a campaign record in Launches, starting in Draft status.
Why the distinction matters
Keeping detected and confirmed separate means your Launches list only contains campaigns your team has actually vouched for, not every guess Scan makes. It also means a wrong or duplicate finding can be dismissed without ever cluttering your campaign records.
