How the approvals queue works

Last reviewed Sep 6, 2026

Once a campaign has passed preflight, and if it requires approval, it enters the approval queue for the relevant approver.

How a campaign enters the queue

A campaign that requires Brand approval enters the Brand approver's queue. A campaign that requires Legal approval enters the Legal approver's queue. A campaign can require both, in which case it appears in each queue independently.

How queue order works

Campaigns in an approver's queue are ordered by how long they've been waiting, oldest first, so nothing sits unnoticed indefinitely.

What happens after a decision

Once an approver acts, the campaign leaves their queue. If approved and no other approval is outstanding, the campaign becomes eligible to be committed. If rejected or returned with requested changes, it goes back to its owner.
