The four severity levels
Every violation inherits a severity level from the rule that detected it.
What each level signals
- Critical — A serious brand or compliance risk that should be resolved before a campaign goes live.
- High — A clear violation that should be addressed promptly.
- Medium — Worth fixing, but not urgent enough to block other work.
- Low — A minor inconsistency, useful to track but rarely urgent.
Where severity comes from
Severity is set when a rule is written, not chosen per violation. See Rule severity: how to choose for guidance on setting it.
