A violation is created when Launch finds content that matches an active brand rule during a scan or a preflight check.
Where detection happens
scans and preflight runs
- During a scan, when Scan reads content in a connected system or on a public page.
- During a preflight run, when a campaign's copy is checked against active rules as part of its readiness check.
What gets recorded
Each violation records exactly what was found, which rule it matches, and where it was found, so it can be reviewed without needing to hunt down the original context. See Detected language: how Launch surfaces the exact wording.
