Two-factor authentication adds a second step to signing in, beyond your password.
Turn on 2FA for your own account
- Go to your account settings.
- Open Security.
- Click Enable two-factor authentication.
- Follow the setup steps using your authenticator app.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe.
Requiring it workspace-wide
How this interacts with enforced SSO
An Owner or Admin can require two-factor authentication for everyone in the workspace from Settings, under Security. This applies to password-based sign-in; workspaces using enforced SSO rely on their identity provider's own authentication factors instead.
