The number of unique people who saw a piece of content, as distinct from the total number of times it was displayed (which is impressions, and can count the same person multiple times).
Why it matters
Reach tells you how many distinct people your content is getting in front of — useful for understanding audience size and awareness campaign performance, separate from engagement or conversion.
In a sentence
"Reach was strong, but engagement rate was low — plenty of people saw it, but it didn't resonate enough to prompt interaction."
